Meet Cheryl Kirton, PT, MSHSA

With 39 years of experience in physical therapy, Cheryl Kirton has dedicated her career to helping patients regain strength, improve mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy most. For the past 32 years, she has proudly served the Okeechobee community, providing personalized physical therapy care built on compassion, clinical expertise, and lasting relationships with her patients.

 

Cheryl began her educational journey by earning an Associate of Arts degree from Palm Beach Junior College before completing her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). She later earned a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from Nova University, further strengthening her knowledge of patient care and healthcare leadership.

 

Over the course of her 39-year career, Cheryl has helped patients recover from orthopedic injuries, surgery, chronic pain, balance and mobility challenges, and other conditions that affect daily movement and quality of life. She believes every patient deserves a treatment plan tailored to their unique goals, lifestyle, and recovery needs.

 

Known throughout Okeechobee for her compassionate approach and commitment to excellence, Cheryl focuses on helping patients not only recover from injury but also build the strength, confidence, and mobility needed to maintain an active, independent life.
